Absentee Ballot Request Forms can be submitted to the Des Moines County Auditor's Office for the Danville School Special Election to be held on March 2, 2021

Key notes are below:
- The completed absentee request form must be received in the Auditor's Office no later than Friday, February 19, 2021 at 5 p.m.
- If you want to receive your ballot at an address other than your residential address, please complete the section “Where Your Absentee Ballot Should Be Mailed” of the request form.
- Please be sure to sign your own name on the absentee request form. It is forgery for anyone other than the voter to sign the absentee ballot request form. This includes all family members.
- It is illegal for a Power of Attorney to sign the absentee ballot request form as a Power of Attorney.
- Absentee ballots will be mailed on Monday, February 1, 2021
- Returned Absentee Ballots must have a postmark on or before the deadline of Monday, March 1, 2021.
- Important - make sure to sign the affidavit envelope before returning the ballot.
- You or your designee may deliver your ballot to the Auditor’s Office at 513 N Main St., 2nd Floor or place the voted ballot in the tan drop box located next to the courthouse before the polls close on Election Day by 8 p.m.
