Absentee Voting

Here is how you can still vote in this election.

You can request an Absentee Ballot by;

* Going to the Secretary of State website and downloading an Absentee Request form.  Here is the website  https://sos.iowa.gov/elections/electioninfo/absenteeinfo.html.

* Requesting an Absentee Request form from the Auditor’s office, to be mailed to you.                                                Please give us a call at 1-319-753-8232 Ext 5

Please fill out the request form and send it to the Auditor’s office.  Auditor’s Office address is  Des Moines County Auditor  PO Box 784  Burlington, IA 52601

The last day to request an Absentee Ballot to be mailed to you is Monday October 24th by 5pm.   

         Wednesday Oct. 19th— First day the Auditors office is allowed to begin mailing ballots.

         In-person Absentee voting at the Auditors office begins on Wednesday Oct. 19th - Nov. 7th
