Burlington School District Special Election Physical Plant & Equipment Levy (PPEL) & To Fill a Vacancy Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 Polls open from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Candidate Filing - July 11, 2023 - August 3, 2023, at 5 p.m.

Candidate Withdrawal & Objection Deadline - August 7, 2023 at 5 p.m.

Absentee ballot request (to be mailed) & Pre-registration deadline for voter registration closes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28th, 2023. Person(s) wishing to participate in this election who register to vote after August 28th, 2023 will need to register at the polls on election day or vote in person at the Auditor's office. Identification will be required. Current & Valid photo ID card with an expiration date (example, Drivers License or State ID) AND proof of residency in their voting precinct if the driver's license does not have the current address. 

Vote in-person at the Auditor's Office & 1st day to mail absentee ballots - August 23rd, 2023 

Polling places that will be used for this election, will be the polling places that has precincts that fall within the Burlington Community School District.  These precincts are; Pcts 1-8 & Pct CC, FM, Tama, Union & WB.
